- And how many paid-for games are on the shelf? Besides, you can use MUI
- withoutpaying the shareware fee, just without getting all the
- configuarability that the registered users have. For me, being able to
- change the fonts and screen colors more than made up for the
- registration fee. Furthermore, IBrowse demos will probably be limited to
- 30 days usage, where MUI works fine forever in the demo version. And
- there are steadily more web browsers on the way that say they don't need MUI.
-
- However, if you don't agree with paying shareware for tools you use all
- the time, try going to a hardware (tool) store, and taking home a hammer
- or a shovel "to test".
-
- I think the Amiga shareware programmer's deserve the things like postcards
- for utilities, and shareware fees for their efforts. And for the money
- you get more technical support and upgrades than most commercial programs
- give! (Except for the excellent Softwood, Digita, Wolf Faust, and Soft-Logik).
